The Journey

What begins as a practical quest slowly turns into something much larger. The company moves through a dangerous world where old promises still matter, and where even small mistakes can change the fate of everyone involved.

The Conflict

The deeper they go, the more they realize that enemies are not always obvious, alliances are not always honest, and survival often depends on choosing the lesser evil before time runs out.

The Stakes

Some of the companions are trying to survive. Some are chasing something they lost. But in a story born from real tabletop sessions, no one gets to rewind the dice — and no one gets to erase the cost of a bad decision.

Meet the Characters

The heart of the saga is the party itself — flawed, stubborn, brave in different ways, and always one step away from disaster.

From the World of Almir

These stories are based on real role-playing sessions from the legendary Czech and Slovak game Dračí Doupě. Every decision was made by a real player. Every consequence was real.

That is why the saga feels alive — it is not a polished fairy tale, but a memory of events shaped by risk, emotion and imperfect people making difficult choices.

Chapter One — opening excerpt

A strange tension hung in the air. The land had fallen silent; the wind no longer whispered, and even the leaves seemed to hold their breath. Then the night sky tore open with a flash of lightning, followed by a deep, rolling thunder. The first drops of rain pierced through the crowns of ancient trees and fell upon the head of a man sitting calmly beside a crackling fire.

Through the rhythmic patter of rain, he caught a faint rustle. To most, it would have meant nothing — perhaps a frightened animal seeking dry ground. But he was no ordinary man. This was no animal. Someone was coming.

The rustle grew louder until a shape appeared through the gloom — a medium-built figure outlined by firelight. Only a drenched woman cloaked against the rain. Flaming red hair spilled down her back.
